Biography
Dr. Steven Reece is an Associate Professor at Cleveland University-Kansas City and a practicing chiropractor with extensive experience in functional assessment, rehabilitation, motion analysis, and chiropractic education. Since joining the University in 2019, he has contributed to institutional growth through leadership roles on the Strategic Planning Committee, Curriculum Committee, Institutional Review Board, Faculty Evaluation Committee, and Safety and Security Committee. Dr. Reece played a key role in the development and implementation of the university’s Sports Performance Lab, integrating advanced technologies such as motion capture and inertial measurement systems into both research and clinical education. He teaches a broad range of courses including upper and lower extremity technique and case management, chiropractic functional assessment, research methods, and functional movement assessment. Additionally, he has practiced in both associate and ownership roles within private practice, focusing on patient care, clinic development, and performance-based rehabilitation.
