Scott D. Banks

Dr. Scott D. Banks is a graduate of the State University of New York at Alfred University and Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport in 2008. Dr. Banks was licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine in 1977 and has been practicing for 49 years. His expertise lies in nutritional therapy and functional medicine, with extensive teaching experience across eight chiropractic colleges and contributions to the Chiropractic Rehabilitation Association. He has authored rehabilitation guidelines on the lumbar spine and scoliosis and has published numerous papers on spine topics. He has also been a preceptor in alternative medicine and is a past editor of Nutritional Perspectives.
