Louis Crivelli II

Chairman, Maryland Chiropractic Association | Vice Chairman, Council on Chiropractic Guidelines & Practice Parameters (CCGPP) | Certified Nutrition Specialist | Chiropractic Assistant Educator Dr. Louis S. Crivelli II, DC, MS, CNS, is a highly respected clinician, educator, and leader in the chiropractic profession. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences (2001), a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College. Since 2002 he has practiced in Greenbelt, Maryland — just minutes from NASA Goddard Space Flight Center — where his diverse patient base includes members of the scientific, educational, and industrial communities. As a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Dr. Crivelli specializes in evidence-based interventions focused on inflammation reduction and soft-tissue healing. A passionate advocate for the profession, Dr. Crivelli serves as Chairman of the Maryland Chiropractic Association and chairs both its Insurance and Legislative/Legal Committees. He was voted Maryland Chiropractor of the Year in both 2016 and 2018. As Maryland’s delegate to the American Chiropractic Association, he regularly meets with members of Congress in Washington, DC, to advance healthcare policy that supports chiropractic. He is also Vice Chairman of the Council on Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP), where he helps develop evidence-based practice guidelines and knowledge translation for the profession. For more than a decade Dr. Crivelli has been a leading educator of Chiropractic Assistants. He is the developer, chief instructor, and coordinator of the Maryland Chiropractic Association’s official CA training program and regularly teaches and records continuing-education seminars for CAs throughout Maryland and across the country. He is a member of the ACA Council on Forensic Sciences, the Association for the History of Chiropractic, the Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association, and the American College of Nutrition. Dr. Crivelli lives outside Annapolis, Maryland, with his wife Christiane and their children, Louis and Harper.
