Ian Hoffman

Dr. Ian Hoffman is a distinguished chiropractor, a passionate nonprofit founder, and the CEO of The Student Loan Eraser, as well as the founder of the Healthcare Access Project. He was honored as the Alumni of the Year by Life Chiropractic College West in 2013, recognized for his significant contributions to the chiropractic community and for inspiring many to join the profession. Dr. Hoffman's dedication to expanding access to healthcare was deeply influenced by a personal experience in 2013, when a four-year-old patient with stage 4 cancer visited his office. This encounter ignited his mission to create a nonprofit organization to provide care for those in need, regardless of their financial situation. During this period, he discovered the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program, which became a cornerstone of his work. Having personally achieved $166,663.04 in tax-free student loan forgiveness through PSLF in 2025, Dr. Hoffman now guides other healthcare professionals through the same process. Since 2016, he has helped over 600 healthcare providers, including chiropractors, naturopathic doctors, dentists, physical therapists, nurse practitioners, and medical doctors, establish their own nonprofits to qualify for PSLF. His efforts have collectively saved his clients an estimated $160 million in student loan debt, while simultaneously expanding access to vital healthcare services in communities across the country.
