Biography
Simon J. Agger, DC, graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1997, became licensed in Oregon, and began his practice in 1998. Originally from England, Dr. Agger first came to the United States in 1990, where he studied massage and reflexology before pursuing chiropractic medicine. He has since established a highly successful chiropractic and nutritional practice, Agger Chiropractic and Nutrition Clinic, in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Agger employs a variety of techniques in his practice, including Diversified, drop-table, and Activator methods. He holds advanced training in nutrition and Western herbal medicine, as well as in the evaluation, detection, and treatment of whiplash and concussion injuries. He is a dedicated educator, serving as a mentor and preceptor for chiropractic interns and new doctors, and for students in the Functional Medicine and Human Nutrition Masters of Science Degree Program at the University of Western States (UWS) since 2013. Additionally, he is part of the faculty at the Rocky Mountain University Osteopathic Medicine program within the Integrative Medical Nutrition Program and is a Board Certified Supervisor for Certified Nutrition Specialist graduates for their clinical training. With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Agger is a seasoned presenter who lectures to other healthcare practitioners throughout the Pacific Northwest and travels the country as a speaker. His practice focuses on a holistic approach to health, performance, and injury management, emphasizing spinal rehabilitation, diet, and functional medicine to address the root causes of pain and inflammation. He has also served as an attending physician for the Oregon Ballet Theatre since 2005.
