Biography
Daivati Bharadvaj, ND has been practicing naturopathic primary care medicine for the past 20 years in Portland and Beaverton, OR. Her focuses include botanical medicine, nutrition, and Ayurvedic medicine for chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, women's reproductive health, mental health conditions, and pediatrics. She particularly enjoys working with her diverse patients, communities of color, and underserved groups. She earned her doctorate degree from the National College of Natural Medicine in 2003 and completed a residency in Naturopathic Family Medicine in 2004, after finishing her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences/biology from Cornell University. She is the author of Natural Treatments for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an excellent resource for health care providers and CFS patients alike. She is a frequent educator in the fields of DEI, herbal medicine, and healthcare equity, with talks such as “Revitalizing Our Medicine with Anti-racist Action” ethics and cultural competency presentation at American Association of Naturopathic Physicians annual conference July 21, 2022, and “Self-Care for the Underserved: DIY Natural Medicine” presentation at Integrative Medicine for the Underserved Conference June 23, 2018.
