Principles 2 Adjusting
About This Event
Using principles of Chiropractic Adjusting techniques (Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, Toggle, Sacral Occipital Technique, Logan, Cox, Barge, and Extremities), to establish a technique protocol based on digital posture and range of motion, muscle testing, leg checks and x-ray findings and listings. This will guide the practitioner in when to utilize seated, standing, prone and supine adjusting with Manual, Drop Table and Instrumentation. The results validate that Chiropractic care removes interference in the nervous system and improves the state of an individual’s health and wellbeing. When the proper spinal analysis and adjusting techniques are used, the result should be a healthier spine visualized on post x-ray, along with improved range of motion and posture studies.
Learning Objectives
- •Identify and apply the principles of major chiropractic adjusting techniques (Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson, Toggle, Sacral Occipital Technique, Logan, Cox, Barge, and Extremities) to clinical practice
- •Develop a systematic technique protocol by integrating digital posture analysis, range of motion assessment, muscle testing, leg checks, and radiographic findings with vertebral listings
- •Determine appropriate patient positioning (seated, standing, prone, supine) and adjusting modalities (manual, drop table, instrumentation) based on clinical examination findings
- •Evaluate pre- and post-adjustment radiographs to assess spinal alignment improvements and validate the correction of vertebral subluxations
- •Demonstrate how proper spinal analysis and targeted adjusting techniques reduce nervous system interference and improve patient health outcomes
- •Measure clinical outcomes using objective criteria including range of motion, posture studies, and radiographic comparison to document treatment effectiveness
