MPI Masters Series
About This Event
The purpose of this program is to help chiropractors (and those in training) determine if a disc is involved with their patient’s condition. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of assessment findings and how to correlate this information with historical data. The program will also cover how to integrate exercise into the management of lumbar and cervical spine disc issues. All exercises that will be taught will be able to be modified for each patient’s individual pain presentation and exam findings.
Learning Objectives
- -Identify clinical assessment findings that indicate disc involvement in lumbar and cervical spine conditions
- -Correlate patient history, symptom presentation, and examination findings to accurately determine disc pathology
- -Interpret imaging and diagnostic test results in the context of clinical presentation
- -Design and implement disc-specific exercise progressions appropriate for individual patient presentations
- -Modify exercise protocols based on pain response and examination findings
- -Integrate evidence-based exercise management into comprehensive disc disorder treatment plans
- -Educate patients on proper exercise execution and activity modification for disc-related conditions
