About This Event
This extremity adjusting workshop will go into great detail pertaining to the technical aspects of extremity adjusting technique. Much focus and intention is placed on providing patients a reliable and comfortable extremity adjusting experience. The methodology uses a detailed, hands-on process to adjust the carpals, tarsals, shoulder, and knee. Attendees will gain more knowledge and kinesthetic hands-on improvement in their adjusting technique and clinical management of extremity conditions. The attendees will also learn how to concisely and accurately convey to patients the reason and need for extremity adjusting technique for various health concerns.
Learning Objectives
- •Demonstrate proper hand positioning, contact points, and thrust mechanics for adjusting the carpals, tarsals, shoulder, and knee
- •Apply evidence-based assessment techniques to identify extremity joint dysfunction and determine appropriate adjustment protocols
- •Develop proficiency in modifying adjustment techniques based on patient anatomy, condition severity, and comfort level
- •Explain the clinical rationale for extremity adjusting and effectively communicate treatment benefits to patients
- •Integrate extremity adjusting into comprehensive clinical management plans for common extremity conditions
- •Practice hands-on adjustment techniques with feedback to improve kinesthetic awareness and execution
