About This Event
The Oklahoma Chiropractors Association's 2027 Summer Workshop for doctors and staff runs Friday, July 23 (8:00 AM) through Sunday, July 25, 2027 (1:00 PM) at Shangri La Resort (Oklahoma 125, Afton, OK). The OBCE has given temporary approval for 16 CEUs.
This year's program focuses on the golfing patient:
-Day 1, Foundations, Biomechanics & Common Golf Injuries: biomechanics and clinical assessment of the golfing patient, plus diagnosis, risk factors and chiropractic management of common golf-related injuries. Optional golf outing at 1 PM.
-Day 2, Lower Extremity Assessment, Treatment & Rehabilitation: lower-extremity biomechanics and assessment, plus chiropractic management and rehabilitation of lower-extremity dysfunction. Optional dinner and awards ceremony at 7 PM.
-Day 3, Spine, Rehabilitation & Whole-Patient Management: spinal assessment and treatment related to golf biomechanics, plus rehabilitation, psychosocial factors and return to golf.
