About This Event
The Dr.PGA Seminar is designed to bridge the gap between the golf swing and golf injuries. You will learn about golf biomechanics and how to prevent golf injuries. This seminar is equipping chiropractors with the golf knowledge to position themselves as the “golf doctor” in their practices and communities. This is a 12-hour CCE course that puts doctors on an amazing golf journey of golf education. Attendees will learn basics of the swing golf and learn the groundwork for recommending injury prevention techniques and peak performance training to their patients.
Learning Objectives
- -Understand the biomechanics of the golf swing and identify common movement dysfunctions that contribute to golf-related injuries
- -Assess and evaluate golfers for swing-related musculoskeletal imbalances and limitations in mobility, stability, and flexibility
- -Develop evidence-based injury prevention strategies specific to golfers across all skill levels and age groups
- -Implement and prescribe golf-specific performance training protocols to enhance swing mechanics and reduce injury risk
- -Recognize common golf injuries (lower back, shoulder, elbow, knee) and apply appropriate chiropractic management techniques
- -Position your practice as a specialized golf medicine provider and develop marketing strategies to attract golfers in your community
