About This Event
The Dr.PGA Seminar is designed to bridge the gap between the golf swing and golf injuries thru injury prevention. This is a 12-hour seminar that puts doctors on an amazing golf journey of golf education. Attendees will learn the biomechanics of the swing and learn the groundwork for recommending injury prevention techniques to their patients.
Learning Objectives
- •Analyze the biomechanics of the golf swing and identify key phases that contribute to common golf-related injuries
- •Apply evidence-based assessment techniques to evaluate golfers for musculoskeletal dysfunction and swing-related asymmetries
- •Develop targeted injury prevention and rehabilitation protocols specific to golfers across different skill levels
- •Recognize common golf injuries including rotational spine injuries, golfer's elbow, and shoulder impingement, and understand their mechanisms
- •Integrate chiropractic care strategies with golf-specific conditioning to improve swing mechanics and patient performance
- •Educate patients on proper warm-up protocols, flexibility requirements, and movement patterns essential for injury prevention
