DNS Pelvic Health

DNS Pelvic Health is a two-day continuing education course designed for healthcare providers and patients of all genders. The course integrates Developmental Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) principles with specialized focus on pelvic floor function, breathing mechanics, and their relationship to overall movement patterns and health.

Attendees will explore the foundational principles of developmental kinesiology and how early developmental patterns influence adult locomotor system function. The course emphasizes practical assessment and corrective exercise strategies based on DNS functional tests and developmental positions, with particular attention to the integrated relationship between the diaphragm and pelvic floor muscles.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in assessment techniques, learn strategies for pelvic floor relaxation and activation, and understand how to integrate pelvic floor function into global movement patterns for comprehensive patient care.

• •Demonstrate relaxation and activation of pelvic floor muscles
• •Integrate pelvic floor function in global movement patterns
• •Identify and address functional sterility
• •Manage urinary stress incontinence using DNS principles
• •Address dysmenorrhea through pelvic floor and breathing integration
• •Treat non-specific pelvic pain
• •Address constipation through functional assessment and correction
