Virginia Schafer

Dr. Virginia Schafer, a Life graduate from 1980, successfully practiced in Georgia and South Carolina and is now semi-retired. With over twenty years of experience, she teaches and lectures to healthcare professionals, focusing on current topics in health care, particularly the medical/natural medicine approach to common ailments in the senior population, and has received awards for her research papers. An avid volunteer, she serves on multiple boards, with passions including Hydro farming and teaching farming missions in Africa and the Caribbean. She currently dedicates her time to writing, researching, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren, having also started Freshtakes Publishing and Outtake Publishing.
