Biography
Dr. Todd M. Narson is a highly distinguished chiropractic sports physician with over three decades of experience, renowned for his expertise in sports medicine chiropractic care. A 1990 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic, Dr. Narson holds the prestigious Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP®) credential, placing him among a select group of specialists nationwide and as the sole recognized diplomate practicing in Miami-Dade County, FL. He is the clinical director of Miami Beach Family & Sports Chiropractic Center, where he applies his advanced knowledge to optimize performance and facilitate recovery for athletes and active individuals alike. Dr. Narson's extensive career is marked by significant contributions to the field of sports chiropractic. He has served on the sports medicine teams for numerous high-profile events, including a rotation at the US Olympic Training Center, the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Rowing Trials, the Pan American Games, and as team chiropractor for Team USA Triathlon at the ITU World Multisport Championships. He also traveled with Jamaica's National Women's Senior Soccer team. His international credentials include an International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD) from the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (F.I.C.S.). Dr. Narson is also the inventor and developer of the Narson Body Mechanic N6, a patented soft tissue "multi-tool" utilized in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization techniques such as Graston Technique® and FAKTR. Beyond his clinical practice and athletic support, Dr. Narson is an accomplished educator and thought leader. He is a past president of the Dade-County Chiropractic Society and a two-term past president of the Florida Chiropractic Association's Council on Sports Injuries, Physical Fitness & Rehabilitation, earning the coveted "Chiropractic Sports Physician of the Year" award in 1999-2000. His holistic and evidence-based approach emphasizes injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement through functional movement, soft-tissue therapies, and sports nutrition. He has lectured widely and co-authored a paper on "Protocols For Proprioceptive Active Re-Training Boards."
