Biography
Dr. Steve W. King graduated cum laude from Life Chiropractic College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Florida and, prior to his chiropractic career, worked as a shuttle thermal protection systems engineer with Lockheed Space Operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. He has an extensive post-graduate education in chiropractic medicine and a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition with a focus on functional medicine. Dr. King specializes in treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. As a versatile athlete himself, he brings a unique perspective to the treatment of sports injuries, working with many professional athletes, elite runners, and amateur sports enthusiasts to treat and prevent injury, as well as enhance performance. His comprehensive approach focuses on the athlete's performance and health, state-of-the-art chiropractic care, and targeted nutritional and exercise recommendations. Dr. King has distinguished himself as one of the chiropractic leaders in the Midwest. He is an instructor for the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI), teaching classes throughout the world on spinal biomechanics, manipulation, motion palpation, and case management. He also serves as the Cincinnati Bengals team chiropractor. Actively involved in his profession, Dr. King is a past president of the Southwestern Ohio Chiropractic Association and Chiropractic Choice, and a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. He is a co-founder and clinician at Mt. Lookout Chiropractic & Sports Injury Center.
