Biography
Dr. Robert Brody is a licensed naturopathic physician practicing in Connecticut, specializing in gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. He holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and a Master of Science (MS) in Human Nutrition, both from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. Brody is a Fellow from the American Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology (FABNG), specializing in functional digestive disorders such as Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), and also works with patients suffering from autoimmune diseases. He completed a residency program at the Center of Excellence in Generative Medicine under Dr. Peter D'Adamo, the founder of the Blood Type Diet, and his fellowship from the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Brody serves as an Adjunct Professor and Attending Physician at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine. In 2017, Dr. Brody established Personalized Natural Medicine LLC in Newtown, CT, where he offers a wide range of naturopathic treatments, including general health, Opus23 genetic analysis, SWAMI diet and nutrition analysis, manual adjustment therapy, and acupuncture therapy. He is dedicated to providing affordable natural medicine, with his clinic accepting various insurance plans. Additionally, Dr. Brody is the President of the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association and a Board Member of the Gastroenterology Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
