Rita Walters

Rita Walters, PhD, LCSW, holds a PhD and a master's in social work from Michigan State University and a bachelor's in criminal justice from Lincoln University. Her work spans clinical social work, cultural competence and international social work, and her research has focused on children with disabilities and their families. She has served on the board of the Lansing Area AIDS Network and the advisory council of Wayne State University's Developmental Disabilities Institute.
