Patrick Hanaway

Dr. Patrick Hanaway is a board-certified family physician trained at Washington University. Serving as President of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, he has spent over 25 years in practice alongside his wife, Dr. Lisa Lichtig. In 2009, he was initiated as a Mara’akame by the Wixarika people in Mexico, intertwining his medical expertise with indigenous healing practices. Patrick leads the Blue Deer Center, facilitating community fires and ceremonies aimed at fostering a deep relationship with nature.
