Marc Lazarus

Marc Lazarus, Esq., is a plaintiff personal injury trial attorney with Russell & Lazarus APC in Newport Beach, California. He has served as lead counsel on hundreds of litigated actions, taking or defending more than a thousand depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. He has also been lead counsel in about five bench trials, about twenty jury trials, about one hundred binding arbitrations, more than a hundred judicial arbitrations, and over two hundred mediations and settlement conferences. Before becoming a plaintiff personal injury attorney, he spent more than twelve years as a paralegal with plaintiff personal injury firms. His cases involve automobile, motorcycle and bus collisions, slip and falls, product-related injuries, medical malpractice and work-related claims, with a focus on traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and shoulder, wrist, hand, knee and ankle injuries. He has taught in the ABA-approved paralegal certificate programs at the University of California, Irvine and Southern California College of Business and Law, serves as a pro bono arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, and has served as a pro bono mediator in Orange County. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, where he was a featured convention speaker on arbitration procedure and practice, as well as Consumer Attorneys of California and the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. He was named a 2022 Southern California Super Lawyer and received an Avvo Clients' Choice Award.
