Judith Shoemaker

Judith M. Shoemaker, DVM, is an internationally recognized practitioner and educator in integrative veterinary medicine and therapy. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Shoemaker conducts in-service training and CE classes both nationally and internationally. She is licensed in eleven East Coast states, as well as Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana, and Colorado. Her practice incorporates chiropractic, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, homotoxicology, homeopathy, and nutrition among other modalities, serving equine competitors and companion animals alike. Recognized as the Practitioner of the Year by the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association in 2011 and inducted into the Animal Chiropractic Hall of Fame in 2015, she co-hosts Maximum Horsepower, LLC, focusing on research and education. Dr. Shoemaker graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Georgia, in 1980 and holds a B.S. in Animal Science from Virginia Tech.
