John P. Maher

Dr. John P. Maher is a highly respected Doctor of Chiropractic practicing in Carmel, New York, where he has operated Maher Chiropractic since 1991. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1990, graduating with honors in research. Dr. Maher further distinguished himself by becoming a member of the Legion of Chiropractic Philosophers (LCP), a testament to his deep commitment to the foundational principles of chiropractic. His philosophical dedication is underscored by his thesis, "Does Universal Intelligence Exist?", published by Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005. Throughout his career, Dr. Maher has been a passionate advocate and educator of chiropractic philosophy. He has served as a lecturer for "New Beginnings for a New Future," speaking on a variety of chiropractic topics, and as a team speaker. He has also been a guest lecturer for the Massachusetts Alliance of Chiropractic Philosophy, focusing on effective communication of chiropractic principles through analogies. At Palmer College of Chiropractic, he contributed as a Module Instructor for the Legion of Chiropractic Philosophy, where he developed the curriculum and presentation on universal intelligence.
