Jim Ventresca

Dr. Jim Ventresca has trained thousands of healthcare professionals in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, graduating from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984 and achieving National Board Certification as a Diplomate of Acupuncture and licensure in Massachusetts, later also holding licensure as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine in New Mexico. He has practiced and taught acupuncture since 1984, co-founded an HIV/AIDS Substance Abuse Treatment Center, served on the Faculty of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and was Medical Director for Integrative Medicine at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He also served as Academic Dean and Campus Director for Southwest Acupuncture College, and is currently the Director and Principal Instructor for AcuPractice® Seminars, providing various training programs in acupuncture and Oriental medicine.
