Heidi Bockhold

Dr. Heidi Bockhold is a distinguished figure in the field of chiropractic, with a career spanning over two decades dedicated to both human and animal chiropractic care. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, in June 1992, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Regents College in New York in June 1994. Her early career included establishing a private chiropractic practice in Florida and serving as a clinical supervisor in the research department and a technique instructor at Life University, where she was nominated three times for "Who's Who of College Professors." Driven by a lifelong passion for animals, Dr. Bockhold transitioned her focus to animal chiropractic, achieving certification by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) in March 2000 and subsequently by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). She is the co-owner and a lead instructor at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic, a premier institution for animal chiropractic education. In 2003, she further solidified her commitment to the profession by co-founding the International College of Animal Chiropractors. For over a decade, Dr. Bockhold has exclusively dedicated her practice to treating large and small animals, while also teaching advanced animal chiropractic courses internationally in locations such as Germany and England. Dr. Bockhold's expertise extends beyond clinical practice and teaching; she is actively involved in research, currently conducting studies on treating animals using Sacral Occipital Technique. She is also a sought-after lecturer, educating lay audiences on a diverse range of topics including Animal Chiropractic, Integrative Animal Health Care, and Equine and Canine management.
