Edwin Cordero

Dr. Edwin Cordero is a highly respected and influential leader within the chiropractic profession, known for his extensive experience spanning private practice, academia, and organizational leadership. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Dr. Cordero graduated from Life Chiropractic College in 1993. He subsequently established and successfully led a private chiropractic practice in Boynton Beach, Florida, for two decades, following an initial year of practice in Puerto Rico. During this time, he became recognized for his patient-centered approach and business acumen, earning him the Florida Chiropractic Society's Chiropractor of the Year award in 2011. His career trajectory expanded significantly when he was appointed the fifth President and CEO of Sherman College of Chiropractic, a role he held for a decade from January 2013 to December 2022. Under his leadership, Sherman College experienced remarkable growth, including a doubling of student enrollment within his first three years and the oversight of a $17 million campus master plan. Dr. Cordero was instrumental in strengthening the college's national reputation and fostering a culture rooted in service, accountability, and leadership development, while steadfastly upholding the vitalistic tenets and traditional values of chiropractic philosophy. Beyond his tenure at Sherman College, Dr. Cordero served as CEO of MaxLiving, a prominent chiropractic organization with numerous clinics across the United States and Puerto Rico. He is also the founder and CEO of Cordero Consulting Group, where he empowers business owners, leadership teams, and healthcare professionals to scale their businesses and develop high-performing teams. His commitment to the profession extends to humanitarian chiropractic mission trips and serving as the chiropractor for the Costa Rican team in the Central American Olympic Games for eight years. In a significant development, Dr. Cordero was appointed CEO of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA), with his transition beginning in March 2025 and becoming effective April 1, 2025. He is a dynamic keynote speaker, fluent in Spanish, who masterfully combines humor, engagement, and profound insights, sharing his expertise on leadership and chiropractic philosophy with audiences worldwide. Dr. Cordero is also an accomplished author, having penned "Against All Odds: How to Transform Setbacks into Success" (2024) and his new book, "Leadership Latino Style: A Playbook for Bold Influence."
