Biography
Debra Dent boasts over four decades of experience as a Physical Therapist, specializing in manual therapy for the spine, having graduated from the University of Manitoba, Canada, in 1977 and earning her Bachelor of Physical Therapy in 1979. She achieved certification as a Part A Manual Physical Therapist in 1989, an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 1994, and was a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual Physical Therapists (FCAMPT) until her retirement in 2019, also becoming an APTA Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) in 1996. An educator for physiotherapists since 1989, she has taught extensively in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, and has authored "Segmental Stabilization of the Lumbar Spine" and "Differential Diagnosis of the Spine," while also developing various online courses for healthcare professionals.
