Biography
Anna McAlinn, DC, MS is a chiropractor and educator whose career spans the worlds of professional academia and large-scale fitness education. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Basic Sciences at Parker University in Dallas, TX, where she teaches Physiology I and II. Her focus in the classroom is on connecting physiological concepts to real clinical scenarios. Dr. McAlinn has built her academic career around making complex physiological and neurological concepts accessible and engaging, with a passion for gamifying the classroom and mentoring the next generation of chiropractic students. Her background in education extends well beyond academia. Over more than a decade with Les Mills International, she traveled nationally and internationally as a Global Educator and Presenter, coaching training teams, performing in large-scale events, and leading large seminar sessions. That gave her meaningful experience communicating health and movement science to diverse audiences. Just prior to pursuing her chiropractic degree, she was recognized as Course Instructor, Assessor, and Presenter of the Year. She also brought that same energy into her work with Therabody, where she served as a course instructor for Therabody University, delivering live and online instruction on physiology, neurology, and percussive therapy to healthcare professionals and fitness enthusiasts alike.
