Abilash Haridas

Abilash Haridas, MD, is a neurosurgeon board-certified in both adult and pediatric neurosurgery and the CEO of Astra Neurosurgical Institute in Los Angeles. His clinical focus includes cerebrovascular and skull base surgery, aneurysm and arteriovenous malformation treatment, cerebral bypass, and brain and spine trauma. He trained in neurosurgery at Harvard Medical School and completed residency at Mount Sinai, followed by fellowships in pediatric neurosurgery at Lurie Children's Hospital and in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He previously directed neurosurgery programs at hospitals in Detroit and Tampa, served as president of the Society for Brain Mapping and Therapeutics, and sits on Florida's Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Advisory Council. He is a contributing author to UpToDate and consults for law firms on malpractice and personal injury matters.
