Vertigo & Balance

Live in-person seminar hosted by Total Health Chiropractic focusing on the evaluation and management of vertigo and balance disorders in chiropractic practice. This course covers the anatomical basis of vestibular function, clinical assessment methods, and practical treatment strategies for managing patients presenting with dizziness and balance dysfunction. Participants will learn to differentiate between various types of vertigo, identify appropriate cases for chiropractic care, and recognize conditions requiring medical referral.

• -Identify the anatomical structures and physiological mechanisms involved in balance and vestibular function
• -Differentiate between common types of vertigo and dizziness, including peripheral and central causes
• -Apply clinical assessment techniques and orthopedic/neurological tests specific to vertigo and balance disorders
• -Recognize red flags and contraindications that require referral or further medical evaluation
• -Understand the chiropractic approach to managing balance disorders and vertigo through manual therapy and rehabilitation
• -Implement evidence-based treatment protocols and home care strategies for patients with vestibular dysfunction
