UWS Summer in December 2026

Summer in December is University of Western States' annual chiropractic continuing education seminar, held December 4–6, 2026 at the Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, 3850 Wailea Alanui Drive, Wailea-Makena (Maui), Hawaii. UWS offers 16 in-person CE credits in Maui plus 11 asynchronous (online, on-demand) credits available before the seminar, for up to 27 credits in total.

Topics include clinical nutrition, musculoskeletal point-of-care ultrasound (MSK-POCUS), radiology, clinical reasoning, case studies and risk management. UWS's announced 2026 speakers are Dr. Patrick Battaglia, Dr. Renee Dversdal, Dr. Leslie Fuller, Dr. Beverly Harger and Mandi Swanson. Registration includes breakfast each day and lunch on Friday and Saturday, and UWS has arranged discounted group rates for rooms and spa services at the resort. The event is sponsored by NCMIC and the Oregon Chiropractic Association.

Registration is through the Oregon Chiropractic Association's CE catalog, which lists the non-member price as $1,100. UWS offers PACE credit in partnership with The Chicago School's Office of Continuing Education and reminds attendees to confirm that their own state board accepts the credits.
