About This Event
This course is a shortened version of another prior course. This will be a one-day training on extremity adjusting technique, including hands-on workshop sessions throughout the day. The training will include procedural methodology of extremity adjustive technique and a discussion from a philosophical perspective on the potential need for extremity adjusting techniques.
Learning Objectives
- •Demonstrate proper hand positioning and body mechanics for upper extremity adjusting techniques (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand)
- •Demonstrate proper hand positioning and body mechanics for lower extremity adjusting techniques (hip, knee, ankle, foot)
- •Apply appropriate adjusting force, direction, and velocity for extremity manipulations based on patient presentation
- •Evaluate when extremity adjusting techniques are clinically indicated and discuss their role within a comprehensive treatment plan
- •Practice hands-on adjusting techniques through live demonstrations and partner workshop sessions
- •Understand the anatomical and biomechanical rationale for extremity adjustive care from both clinical and philosophical perspectives
