About This Event

Due to a code freeze for several years and the continued need for new or revised diagnosis codes, there will be thousands of code changes for fiscal year (FY) 2017. On March 22, 2016 the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the list of diagnosis codes changes for FY 2017. There are 1943 changes to ICD-10-CM codes. A list of new and revised ICD-10-CM codes becoming effective October 1, 2016. This course was presented in September 2016 by Dr. Mario Fucinari.

Michael Krasnov

Dr. Michael Krasnov has been a chiropractor for 36 years, emphasizing sports injuries and performance enhancement. He served as the team chiropractor for the 1996 U.S. Olympic track and field team and has worked major track and field events. Dr. Krasnov is also a member of the sports medicine provider network for U.S.A. Swimming and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, reflecting his commitment to a physically active lifestyle.

Mario Fucinari

DC, CPCO, CPPM, CIC

Dr. Mario Fucinari, a 1986 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport, successfully led a practice in Decatur, Illinois, for 35 years. He is a member of the Carrier Advisory Committee for Medicare and holds certifications as a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), a Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM), and a Certified Insurance Consultant (CIC). Dr. Fucinari has authored several books on topics including Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, ICD-10 coding, and E/M Guidelines, and has been a nationwide speaker for over twenty-seven years, presenting continuing education classes for various organizations.
