About This Event
Topical analgesics and various taping techniques are routinely used by patients and clinicians for pain control and function. Understanding the pharmacology and clinical application of common OTC and prescription topical analgesics will enable the clinician to advise patients on their appropriate use. In addition, both clinicians and patients use various taping techniques for support and to facilitate recovery. This course will examine the application of traditional taping, sport specific and kinesiology taping techniques in theory and application as the research continues to evolve on the mechanism of action of kinesiology and sports taping.
