About This Event
This program is specifically designed for the student and new graduate, or that chiropractor who perhaps graduated some time ago, but is not 100% confident in their management of children. This program supports you step by step through your pediatric journey. It comprehensively covers all aspects of the pediatric experience and is specifically designed to increase your confidence and competence in your management of the pediatric patient.
Learning Objectives
- -Demonstrate proper assessment techniques and spinal palpation skills specific to pediatric patients across different age groups
- -Apply evidence-based adjustment protocols and modifications for infants, children, and adolescents with consideration for developmental differences
- -Identify common pediatric conditions amenable to chiropractic care and recognize contraindications or red flags requiring referral
- -Develop effective communication strategies with parents and guardians to build trust and explain treatment plans in accessible terms
