Dr. Wong will teach common conditions and patterns of subluxation in these body parts that frequently present in clinical practice. The importance of the shoulders and ribs to mid/upper thoracic and lower cervical spine stability will be expounded upon. You will learn how to analyze the patient, identify subluxation patterns, and render treatment that may include home and lifestyle care. It involves the comprehension of examination and adjusting procedures for the shoulder, ribs, and thoracic spine as well.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify and analyze key anatomical structures of the shoulder complex, rib cage, and thoracic spine and their biomechanical relationships to cervicothoracic stability
  • Recognize common subluxation patterns and postural dysfunctions affecting the shoulder, ribs, and mid/upper thoracic regions that present in clinical practice
  • Perform comprehensive examination procedures including orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests specific to the shoulder complex and rib cage
