About This Event
This is an evidence-based, clinically grounded course designed for healthcare and performance professionals who work with runners of all experience levels—from recreational joggers to competitive marathoners. It will give you the tools you need to bridge the gap between rehab and performance for the running population.
Learning Objectives
- •Assess running mechanics and identify biomechanical dysfunctions that contribute to injury and performance limitations
- •Apply evidence-based rehabilitation protocols to common running injuries (IT band syndrome, runner's knee, plantar fasciitis, stress fractures)
- •Develop individualized training programs that bridge the gap between injury recovery and return-to-performance
- •Utilize functional movement screening and gait analysis to guide clinical decision-making
- •Implement periodized conditioning strategies that optimize running performance while minimizing injury risk
- •Educate runners on load management, recovery techniques, and injury prevention strategies
- •Collaborate effectively with coaches and other performance professionals in a multi-disciplinary team approach
