About This Event
This course will review the primary motor skills needed for efficient and quick high-velocity low-amplitude maneuvers (aka HVLA). Overall, the teaching methods of the course will be comprised of demonstrations of manipulations through pre-recorded videos. This will be a hands-on online course in which the doctor should have access to a portable table or be able to have an area to spatially practice these skills as we discuss them. This webinar course was originally presented by Jennifer Illes on May 23, 2023, and sponsored by Foot Levelers, Inc.

- •Identify the anatomical landmarks and positioning required for safe and effective thoracic spine HVLA manipulation
- •Demonstrate proper body mechanics and hand placement techniques for common thoracic manipulation protocols
- •Evaluate clinical indications and contraindications for thoracic spine manipulation in patient care
- •Apply high-velocity low-amplitude manipulation skills to address common thoracic spine conditions
