About This Event
Connecting with women during their pregnancy will help them have a more comfortable pregnancy and help them better prepare for labor and birth. This course aims to equip you with everything you need to call yourself a specialist in prenatal chiropractic care.
Learning Objectives
- -Assess and address common musculoskeletal complaints specific to pregnancy, including low back pain, pelvic pain, and postural changes
- -Apply evidence-based chiropractic techniques and modifications appropriate for each trimester of pregnancy
- -Understand the anatomical and physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and their impact on spinal health
- -Develop a comprehensive patient intake and care plan process tailored to prenatal patients
- -Communicate effectively with obstetric care providers and integrate chiropractic care into the broader prenatal healthcare team
- -Educate pregnant patients on self-care strategies, ergonomics, and exercises to support comfort and prepare for labor
