Physiotherapy for Chiropractors
About This Event
This course is exclusively for licensed chiropractors and chiropractic students who need to complete the required 120hrs in Active and Passive Physiotherapy required to take the NBCE PT Board exam and is required for licensure in some US states. Complete 120 hours of coursework in both Active and Passive Physiotherapy by reading through presentations, quizzes, video trainings and discussion boards. Complete your midterm, final exam and submit two capstone projects. This course is accredited through Texas Chiropractic College and fulfills the required 120 hours of coursework to qualify to take the NBCE Physiotherapy exam.
Learning Objectives
- -Apply evidence-based physiotherapy principles and techniques to chiropractic patient care
- -Demonstrate competency in both active and passive physiotherapy modalities across various musculoskeletal conditions
- -Evaluate patient presentation and select appropriate therapeutic interventions based on clinical reasoning
- -Design and implement patient-specific exercise programs and rehabilitation protocols
- -Understand the physiological mechanisms underlying therapeutic modalities and their clinical applications
- -Meet the 120-hour coursework requirement for NBCE Physiotherapy Board exam eligibility
- -Integrate physiotherapy concepts with chiropractic practice to enhance clinical outcomes
