Oxygen Administration in Emergency Situations: Training and Safety for Clinicians Part 1
About This Event
This hands-on course is designed to train clinicians in the appropriate and safe use of oxygen in emergent settings. Participants will explore the clinical indications for oxygen administration, essential safety precautions, and the operation of delivery equipment such as nasal cannulas, non-rebreather masks, and oxygen tanks. Oregon-specific regulations regarding oxygen use by chiropractors will also be reviewed. Emphasis will be placed on experiential learning, with required hands-on practice and demonstration of competency in administering and discontinuing oxygen therapy. This training aims to increase clinician confidence and proficiency in delivering oxygen effectively under high-pressure conditions.
