About This Event

The purpose of this program is to prepare chiropractors (and those in training) to perform posture and gait evaluations as part of a thorough examination. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of the evaluation findings and how to correlate this information with functional movement testing and joint assessments.

Learning Objectives

•Perform systematic posture and gait evaluations using evidence-based assessment techniques
•Identify common gait deviations and correlate findings with underlying biomechanical dysfunction
•Interpret posture and gait assessment findings to inform clinical decision-making
•Integrate gait and posture evaluation results with functional movement testing
•Correlate gait analysis findings with joint assessment and spinal alignment
•Develop treatment plans based on posture and gait evaluation outcomes
•Document and communicate gait assessment findings effectively in patient records

Brett Winchester

Dr. Brett Winchester is the co-founder of Gestalt Education and the owner of Winchester Spine and Sport in Troy, MO. Dr. Winchester was the team Chiropractor for the St. Louis Cardinals for several years and travels the world teaching manual therapy and rehabilitation skills to physicians.

Mark A. King

Dr. King opened a large multi-disciplinary clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio, and serves on the post-graduate faculty of National University Health Sciences.

Ivo Waerlop

DC, DACNB

Dr Ivo was born in Biloxi, Mississippi on Kessler Air Force Base and grew up in upstate New York. He is a 1986 summa cum laude graduate of the New York Chiropractic College. He received his post-graduate neurology diplomate from Logan Chiropractic College and became board certified in 1990. Dr Ivo works with a broad base of patients including Olympic level, professional and paraprofessional running, skiing and cycling athletes.
