About This Event
You and your patients are likely more fatigued than you'd like to be. In our time together, we'll cover the reasons this might be: poor sleep, blood sugar dysregulation, inappropriate detoxification, exaggerated / prolonged response to stressors and mitochondrial dysfunction. We'll focus on how these are interrelated and strategies to balance them all.
Learning Objectives
- -Identify the five primary physiological factors contributing to chronic fatigue: sleep dysfunction, blood sugar dysregulation, detoxification impairment, stress response abnormalities, and mitochondrial dysfunction
- -Explain the interconnected mechanisms linking poor sleep quality to metabolic dysfunction and impaired energy production
- -Assess blood sugar regulation patterns in clinical practice and implement dietary/lifestyle strategies to optimize glucose homeostasis
- -Recognize signs of chronic activation in the stress response system and apply evidence-based recovery techniques for patients
- -Evaluate mitochondrial health through clinical assessment and recommend interventions to restore cellular energy production
- -Apply an integrated approach to address multiple fatigue factors simultaneously in clinical practice
