About This Event
Objective: 1. Educate on the history and necessity for Chiropractic care for infants 2. Inspire chiropractors to serve more children and families 3. Create clinical certainty adjusting infants and children 4. Enhance the palpation skills of the Chiropractor 5. Help enhance the mission and duty of the chiropractic profession to care for more children Description: Dr. Haig John has created a gentle approach in the detection and adjustment of vertebral subluxations in infants and children. He has been teaching the art, philosophy and science of adjusting for 17 years. This workshop we will explore the aspects of tension on the dura and how to approach an adjustment by first bringing the dura to ease. We will discuss the importance of this approach and how to apply it to nearly every technique chiropractors use to serve their people in their offices.
Learning Objectives
- •Understand the historical context and clinical evidence supporting chiropractic care for infants and children
- •Master palpation techniques specific to pediatric spinal anatomy and assessment
- •Learn the principles of dural tension and its relationship to vertebral subluxations in infants
- •Develop proficiency in gentle adjustment protocols that address dural ease before vertebral correction
- •Apply dura-focused adjustment methodology across multiple chiropractic techniques for pediatric patients
