Implicit Bias & Cultural Competence in Healthcare (Live-Stream)

A growing number of state boards now require implicit bias or cultural competency hours. This two-hour Fetterman Events live-stream, taught by Dr. Dale Morgan, covers both in one midday session you can join from your office.

Dr. Morgan covers the main types of bias and how they shape interactions and clinical decisions, how to recognize bias in yourself and others, and practical ways to identify it and reduce its impact. The second half focuses on cultural competence: what diversity means in a professional setting, the common barriers that limit it, and practices that make a practice more inclusive for patients and staff. Dr. Morgan, DC, CCSP, has worked more than 120 American Motorcycle Association Grand National Flat Track races since 1994, often as the only physician on site.

Thursday, February 4, 2027, 12:00–2:00 PM Central, live on Zoom. Fetterman lists 2 CE hours for chiropractors in a long list of states (an asterisk on the registration page means approval is pending). Illinois licensees receive 1 hour of implicit bias and 1 hour of cultural competency, Michigan licensees receive 2 hours of implicit bias, and the hours also count for Tennessee CTAs. Live-stream rules require a laptop or desktop (no phones or tablets), your webcam on the whole time, and answers to attendance polls.
