About This Event

Advanced Perinatal Clinical Application is a 12-hour, in-person seminar from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), taught by John Edwards, DC, DACCP. Building on the Webster Technique Certification, this module focuses on hands-on clinical skills for pregnant and postpartum patients. It covers perinatal chiropractic research, pelvic balancing techniques, outcome-based exams, and tools for working with birth providers and mothers in your community.

The course goal is to identify neurological soft signs related to subluxation that matter most in the perinatal population, and to address the postural, structural, fascial, functional and psychosocial factors unique to pregnancy and the postpartum period. ICPA recommends taking Perinatal Care with Webster Certification first.

This session runs Saturday, January 23, 2027, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and Sunday, January 24, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Eastern time, at Sherman College of Chiropractic (Rooms 253/257), 2020 Springfield Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, in the Spartanburg area. ICPA's recommended hotel is Four Points by Sheraton Spartanburg, 9027 Fairforest Road, Spartanburg, SC.

ICPA lists approved CE for this date in 35 jurisdictions (US states plus DC, Puerto Rico and the Canadian provinces AB, BC, ON, QC): 12 hours in most. Check the Venue & CE Details on ICPA's course page for your state. Registration is $720 for non-members, $480 for ICPA DC members and $360 for student members (USD). Registration is open to chiropractors and to chiropractic students in their final two years. Bring a portable table (unless the seminar is held at a college), a rolling straight-edge (Gonstead) ruler, a protractor or protractor app, and a rebozo or long, tightly woven fabric wrap.
