Human Trafficking Awareness
About This Event
Human trafficking is considered modern-day slavery. It rarely involves someone being kidnapped by a stranger or lured into a white van. Unfortunately, there are many misconceptions about how trafficking works and who the traffickers target. This course will give you a better understanding of what human trafficking is, how to identify a patient or an individual who may be a victim of human trafficking, and how to report the abuse properly. You will be equipped with the resources to help fight human trafficking and provide resources to victims. This webinar was originally presented on November 11, 2025, and sponsored by NCMIC.
