Dr. Jodi Jacobs obtained a Biology degree from Boston University before pursuing her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University College of Chiropractic in 2006. She is a Clinical Anatomy and Physiology professor at Mercy University and an adjunct at Iona University, teaching various health-related classes. Dr. Jacobs currently owns three Multidisciplinary clinics in NY, Jacobs Healthcare Group, and sits on the New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists Board as the Clinical Advisor.

Beverly Harger

Dr. Beverly Harger creates an interactive learning environment that stimulates interest in the role of imaging in patient care. Her programs motivate clinicians to remain up to date on current concepts in clinical imaging. Her imaging presentations are interesting and helpful in providing doctors with practical radiographic and clinical information for their daily practice. Dr. Harger is a chiropractic radiologist with more than 28 years of clinical experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Western States (UWS) in 1987. In 1992, she completed her radiology residency at UWS and attained her diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. She is a professor and director of the MS in diagnostic imaging, as well as the clinical radiologist for UWS. Her presentations address the importance of knowing imaging algorithms and understanding when imaging has a role in establishing diagnosis. Utilizing radiology case studies, clinicians will learn to differentiate many common conditions and not-so-common conditions, along with patient history and physical examination. Dr. Harger holds memberships in the ACA Council on Diagnostic Imaging and the American Chiropractic College of Radiology. She was named the UWS Outstanding Faculty in 2013.

Laura Swingen

Dr. Laura A. Swingen embarked on her chiropractic profession after graduating from the University of Oregon in 1986 and Western States Chiropractic College in 1990. She gained experience as an associate doctor, learning the NUCCA technique, before joining Sunset Chiropractic Clinic in 1991, where she has served thousands of patients over her more than 34-year career. Dr. Swingen has also participated in three chiropractic mission trips to Central America, providing much-needed care to hundreds of people. In 2010, Dr. Swingen pursued advanced studies in Chiropractic Neurology, completing 475 classroom hours and passing a rigorous board examination to earn her certification in 2012. This achievement made her one of only a handful of Chiropractic Neurologists in Oregon, allowing her to assist patients with greater precision and attracting referrals for complex cases from colleagues statewide. She is known for her compassionate and persistent approach, blending various chiropractic techniques with extensive clinical skill to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Dr. Swingen is an active member of the chiropractic community, holding the presidency of the Functional Chiropractic Council within the Oregon Chiropractic Association. She is also a member of the International Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, and is a founding member of the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation. Her commitment to ongoing education includes over 600 hours of training in the treatment of concussion and mild traumatic brain injury. Dr. Swingen has contributed to peer-reviewed literature, publishing research on neurological rehabilitation in Integrative Medicine: A Clinician's Journal (April/May 2017), and was honored as Chiropractor of the Year in 2023 by the Oregon Chiropractic Association.

Todd Turnbull

Dr. Todd Turnbull received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1991, attained Board Certification as a Chiropractic Sports Physician in 2001, and earned Board Certification as a Brain Injury Specialist in 2019. He has served as a post-graduate faculty member for several Chiropractic institutions, developed over 30 hours of courses for ChiroCredit.com, and authored numerous articles on Concussions, Disc Herniations, Rehabilitation, and Soft Tissue Diagnosis and Treatment.
