Fundamentals: Level 1 & Level 2 Combo
About This Event
The R2P Fundamentals course offers a comprehensive breakdown of essential components for successful MSK practitioners. It focuses on establishing foundational principles that connect assessment and rehabilitation systems, enabling attendees to integrate various approaches into efficient and effective treatment plans. The course provides a mix of didactic lectures, hands-on assessment and intervention, and live breakouts, equipping participants with immediate tools to elevate their clinical practice. The ultimate goal is to build a framework for confident case management and to enhance further education by providing fundamental knowledge for integrating new information.
Building on Level 1, Level 2 advances skills by emphasizing progression of treatment and management strategies to achieve greater functional capacity outcomes. Attendees will gain deeper insights into the clinical biomechanics involved in the functional audit process and learn to streamline exercise selection for more effective patient care.
The curriculum is driven by principles of the musculoskeletal system, including biomechanics, neurology, and anatomy, to simplify method selection. It addresses how to integrate the myriad of available rehab/intervention systems by understanding basic human movement principles and following a thorough assessment framework. A major focus is on developing a fully integrated assessment to become a clinical sniper. Furthermore, the course covers general themes of "performance" programming, teaching how to scale these concepts for every patient, regardless of athletic background, to foster lifelong healthy habits and physical capacity.
