About This Event

This webinar provides an essential update for chiropractic physicians on the best management options for scoliosis. The course was originally presented by Dr. Paul Fisher on June 19, 2018. This program also clarifies the chiropractor's role within the healthcare community, identifying when chiropractic management is appropriate and when co-management or collaboration is beneficial. Learning outcomes include performing accurate scoliosis screenings, differentiating postural deviations, conducting effective clinical examinations, and understanding modern scoliosis bracing techniques and their supporting evidence.

Dr. Michael Krasnov has been a chiropractor for 36 years, emphasizing sports injuries and performance enhancement. He served as the team chiropractor for the 1996 U.S. Olympic track and field team and has worked major track and field events. Dr. Krasnov is also a member of the sports medicine provider network for U.S.A. Swimming and holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, reflecting his commitment to a physically active lifestyle.

Dr. Paul R. Sherman received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College Kansas City, Missouri. He has been with the University of Bridgeport since 1998, currently serving as the Director of the School of Chiropractic and as an Associate Professor of Clinical Sciences. Dr. Sherman is also a postgraduate faculty member for the University of Bridgeport, an author and instructor for ChiroCredit.com, and is licensed to practice chiropractic in Connecticut and New Jersey.
