Dry Needling Level 1 - Green Bay
About This Event
This introductory dry needling course is designed for chiropractors and other healthcare practitioners new to intramuscular stimulation techniques. Participants will develop foundational knowledge of the anatomical, neurophysiological, and clinical principles underlying dry needling practice. The course combines didactic instruction with hands-on practice to build confidence in needle handling, locating trigger points, and executing safe treatment protocols. Topics include indications and contraindications, sterile technique, patient communication, and integration of dry needling into existing chiropractic practice. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to safely incorporate dry needling into their clinical toolkit.
Learning Objectives
- •Understand the neurophysiological basis of dry needling and how it differs from acupuncture
- •Master proper needle insertion techniques, depth control, and safety protocols to minimize adverse events
- •Identify appropriate anatomical landmarks and patient positioning for common trigger point locations
